mj_forte Hard to pick one song on this one since the whole EP flows so seamlessly! Really justifies a listen from end to end. Love the synth leads they are using on these tracks, very pretty and ethereal -- kind of sounds like something out of the Risk of Rain soundtrack. Going with Static as my favorite; while anything but traditional, Static really stands out to me as a song you can really sing along to. A lot of jam bands don't really write songs in the traditional sense, but these guys pull it off. Favorite track: Static.

Can the branches hear the vine while it quietly slithers? Through the roses, just above the roots, and below the leaves. No blade of grass is low enough to observe as it sneaks. Barely loud enough to stir, mingling with the hum of the forest. Tendrils wrap around, inch by inch, rising with time like the tides. Squeezing tighter every day, but when green blends with green, who can see the shade? The ivy rises so far, the tranquil peace of your arbor fades away. Never a whisper from the birds or bees, while the thrum of the hive drones on. Neither the bark, the soil, the rocks, the river, or the hills had tongues to ever say a word. Not a creature in the woods could see, or offer one single warning to me, about the vine that was growing while I was climbing your tree. Tendrils wrap around, inch by inch, rising with time like the tides. Squeezing tighter every day, but when green blends with green, who can see the shade? The ivy rises so far, the tranquil peace of your arbor fades away.

Static 05:07
How many thoughts can fit inside a moment? How many things can change? It’s hard to see with clarity, when things are so deranged Voices fade, Knots get frayed, Silence fills the air With three eye to see, The truth can’t be, that no one’s left to care It’s all just static Makes me manic Onset of panic Psychosomatic If you could do what you always wanted to do, What do you think they’d say? Seven hundred and fifty volts go through you Shocks through your bones and veins You think you want to run away Some sort of guilt blocking your path Things maybe different today Some sort of changed aftermath It’s all just static Makes me manic Onset of panic Psychosomatic
