Have you ever lost your mind, fragmented reality?
Have you ever stepped outside of time, through someone else's eyes?
Dimensions shift around you, while distortions of perception cloud you.
Nothing's real, no one's here, echoes float through space, but they aren't near.
You find your way back through the door, but nothing's the same as it was before.
The moment you've escaped from is now the only truth you know.
The simple world you once knew, an illusion of the light.
You pretend it doesn't matter, just to help you sleep at night.
Beyond the human eye, like wind between the trees,
makes you fall back into; return to memories.
Just when you thought that you had plenty of time
To return to what's true, if truth resides in your mind
And all that is good and all you can hope to find,
when searching for yourself and feeling denied.
Tell myself to hide from fear,
and I feel the walls closing in.
It won't consume me, it's so confusing.

Through darkness I will not fall, I will step into the light.
As far fetched as it may seem, we live within a dream.
Nothing disturbs this light, that shines all through the night.
Hold on to what remains
Take me forward when there's nowhere to hide,
From curiosity you hold inside.
They'll always be a place to speak,
When your tongue is tied.

I've lost myself, and couldn't find, any clues to find my mind.
Now I'm stuck in this abyss, from where I just can't reminisce.
No matter how long the vine,
Makes my intracranial intricacies intertwine,
I still find myself in a bind.
Recollections from my past, the world is spinning fast,
We can turn these things around.
Swim in memories but always drown,
My thoughts are nowhere to be found,
My world is upside down.
Can't seem to remember names,
hurts when everyone thinks that you're actually insane.
There's a part of me you'd want to see,
the skeletons I've hid beneath the dark and lost history,
from which something still plagues me.
Recollections from my past, the world is spinning fast,
We can turn these things around.
Swim in memories but always drown,
My thoughts are nowhere to be found,
My world is upside down.

Toasty

I'll turn the page again, you'll be there waiting for me.
If I keep repeating, I'll keep dreaming of you.
It's no mystery, why grass is always greenest.
I lay in the grass sometimes, and think of where you are,
Gaze up at the stars, before it falls apart.
You make me feel so high,
And if I fall out of your arms, don't let me fall out of the sky.
It's toasty I recall, its a furnace after all,
The way you catch me when I fall,
When it all goes up in flames.
I can see you through the haze, way beyond the growing flames.
You are no stranger to my gaze, I am no stranger to the sky.
If you want to follow me, take my hand and you will see,
my point of view, what do you have to lose?
And if I keep on dreaming that I'll see you on some sunny day,
you wouldn't let me wash away to let your blue skies turn so gray.
You know what's transducive and it's funny in that kind of way,
Take my hand and together we will fly away.
Away.

Keep your eyes on the sky, don't let time pass you by
With what we are given with which we will create
glide through situations in and out of state.
That's all you need to toss and turn, on this uncertain cast of waves.
The life you're living is a fiction you create, when you're out of state
If I can reach out, it will be from within.
Keep your feet on the ground, but your head in the clouds
Over and over in circles you will spin,
Until you have found yourself from within.
The doorway's left open for you to find,
It's all inside your clouded mind.

Take one look in my direction, tell me what do you see.
I can't see my own reflection, and it's starting to get to me.
Visions I have seen so clearly, thoughts they come, as they go
Seasons will start to pass you by, like the world that you once knew.
Twist your reflection, make it what you want it to be
Reach for your exit, out of this portrait that you see

Feelin' Time

So much left to do, and don't know when we can,
Make the effort to bring ourselves to that sweet sand.
Need some relaxation, and some sunshine to consume,
Somewhere to vent our frustrations with the arrivals of the moon.
It's not hard to take it down, accepting that the world turns around.
It doesn't matter what you do, time will come after you.
You face these feelings every day, it doesn't make them go away.
So you keep on waking up, sipping coffee from your cup.
Follow the routine, everything is as normal as it seems.
